I just purchased a PT140 today and went to the firing range. I had some FTF''s in the first mag! I was a little disgusted until I realized that I had my thumb on the mag release. I was releasing the mag about 1/16th of an inch into my left hand. Once I repositioned my thumb, I had a great time shooting. It was very accurate ]practicing at 7 yds[. The gun is excellent for carry. It has every feature for carry you could want....lightweight, power, 11 opportunities, and a low price. Now, how can you beat that?

I hadn''t owned a gun in over 50 years until I purchased the PT-140. It is fantastic. Small enough for CCW. Wish it were a little lighter [18 ounces] but what do you want for a 40 S&W? Right off the bat I was able to zero in with the excellent sights. My first time at the range, after firing about 50 rounds, onmy last mag I put 7 out of 10 right in the black circle of the target ]at 7 or 10 yards - I forget[. Last week my last magazine, firing all in succession, I put everything in the black bullseye circle. It''s an amazing gun. I keep it cleaned after every use and appreciate a GREAT item as: 1. a blessing from God and, 2. my rightful ownership under the 2nd Amendment.

i bought my pt140 for just a bit over 3 bills nib i took my concealed carry with it and my dad has a gloc 40 that he took his class with my pt 140 was just as accurate and smooth as his gloc i have shoot both guns right be side each other and vertually no difference other than cost the pt140 is about half the price of the gloc
